Objectives:
Learn about the royal family in Spain.
Read personal data about the family members.
Be able to use and understand the family tree of
the royal family.
Materials:
Computers with access to the World Wide Web (one
for every two students)
Teacher laptop connected to a large monitor to guide
the students through the lesson.
Student worksheet.
Procedure:
Ask students to describe the picture of the royal
family.
Ask students to guess the relationships of the family
members in the picture.
Have students go to the site:

and then click on La familia real and then
select the indicated members of the royal family. (on student worksheet.)
Have students look for cognates.
Have students guess word meanings based on context.
Have students find specific information on 3 members
