2. Do an in-depth research of a Creole menu and recipes. Compare Creole food with French food and with American food.
Extension
1. Write a diary of your trip to Martinique telling about your visit.
2. Prepare a Creole recipe for the class.
3. Do a PowerPoint presentation of pictures from your visit explaining where you went and what you did.
4. Draw a series of 8"x10" (or larger) pictures depicting a chronology of your visit and present them as a "slide show" to the class.
5. Create and present advertisements encouraging tourists to visit this island. These ads could be in the form of short songs (jingles), slogans, or radio ads.
6. Write a personal ad for the newspaper, a web site detailing why you would like to meet someone from Martinique.
7. You have a vast amount of money to travel as a rich and famous person and how would you change your original itinerary.
