3. Do you think the recipes will be easy or difficult?
4. Is a "tortilla española" similar to a corn/flour tortilla?


During reading:*


1. Give the meaning of a "tapa".
2. Name some recipes.
3. Which recipes will be served cold?
4. Which recipes will be served hot?
5. What is the main ingredient of a tortilla española?
6. Which recipe has the fewest ingredients?
7. What kind of cooking oil is used?
8. Are the ingredients easily found in your supermarket?

With a partner, choose 2 recipes (one from the English section and one from the Spanish section).
Make the 2 recipes at home, videotaping yourselves in the kitchen, making the tapas, and explaining what you are doing (en español). You may read from notes.
Bring your "tapas" to class to share and show the video.
